It's Prom Night and love is in the air! But for Gabby and Peter, two best friends since second grade, will this be the most perfect night in their teenage life or will a BESO change everything? 3:00 pm - Aliens, Immigrants, and Other Evildoers

With spoken word and exaggerated characters, Torres-Tama takes the immigration issue head on in ALIENS, and he shape-shifts into a variety of characters that exposes the hypocrisy of a capitalist system that dehumanizes immigrants and exports their labor simultaneously. (Written and performed by José Torres-Tama.)

3:30 - Locked Up

The story of Santa, a streetwise Latina from the Aliso housing projects of Boyle Heights. Facing the demons of an abusive past and the lures if the street, Santa finds herself locked up in juvenile hall. In this school of hard knocks new behind the wall, new torments await her.
