From 1980 till 2005, when The Phono venue finally closed its door. The Phono held a weekly saturday afternoon sessions. Original Phono DJs wil be playing Punk, Post-punk, New romantic, Goth, Alternative rock, Grunge and the best Alternative dance floor fillers of the 20th century.
Le Phonographic (aka Le Phono) was a dark and dingy nightclub situated in the bowel of the Merion Centre. For many years it was an oasis for goths, punks and people who would have been seen as freaks and wierdo’s The club played underground/alternative music and was a haven for unusual and unique people.
Please join us for what is probably going to be the most authentic retro alternative music event you will ever go to.
