The Doozer will join all the way from Edinburgh, performing for the first time since 2019 supporting fellow freak-folk enthusiast Richard Dawson. At its most esoteric verging on Syd Barrett territory, his latest LP 'Convalescence' he describes as 'a record of slow recovery and rediscovery [...] stripped down and direct'. The Doozer's voice and guitar playing certainly has a soothing quality, particularly so on this latest excellent effort of Loynes's storied career.
