The Permaculture Business
About this Event
I wanted you to be aware that we are teaching a Business of Permaculture Certificate Course starting Monday, June 15.
Do you or someone you know want to learn about these topics?
- Growing food in a South Florida climate without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides.
- Flowers, plants and trees native to South Florida that can support local wildlife, such as butterflies and birds.
- Improving soil quality and reversing climate change.
- Nutritional and medicinal benefits of plants that grow in our climate.
- How to start and run a business using permaculture methods and products.
- Becoming part of a permaculture network of practitioners who want to live in harmony with nature.
If so, please pass along this information and/or consider attending this course. We recently completed teaching a Permaculture Design Course (PDC). This course will have a slightly different focus: less on site design and more on the topics necessary to start and grow a business.
This course will follow a Monday-Tuesday summer schedule for 6 weeks. The curriculum is appropriate for adults and high school students. We will also host an internship 2 days Wednesday-Thursday per week for those that are interested in further honing their skills.
