A launch of Sean Pierson's THE PERFECT SEASON (Wild Honey Press), a chapbook collecting a series of "odes" to members of the 1972 Miami Dolphins.THE PERFECT SEASON comprises eleven odes to members of the 1972 Miami Dolphins, two commercial breaks, a preface, and an addendum. The project itself draws on a number of sources, from Pindar and histories of industrialisation to Stephen Rodefer and early '70s trouser ads. The event will feature a reading of the chapbook in its entirety and, while the event is free, copies of the chapbook will be available for purchase.

Sean Pierson is a poet and teacher from central Massachusetts, currently based in Ireland. His work has appeared in Still Point, Landfill, trilobite.bond, and Breakfast...? and he currently coedits pdf magazine. THE PERFECT SEASON is his first chapbook.
