About this Event
After months of major renovations, upgrades (including our sound system), and phenomenal artists testing out the new stage, we are proud to announce The Grand Opening of The People’s Room of Mobile! Join us on Saturday, June 6th from 7:00-10:00 pm for a celebration of the SAME VIBE in a NEW SPACE!
We will have food (included), great company, comedy with Faith Pierce, music from Brandon Norris, then Matthew Wojo, topping off the evening with Anthony Crawford and Savana Lee (formerly of Sugarcane Jane)!
Anthony Crawford with Savana Lee
Anthony Crawford is a veteran songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose career spans decades at the highest levels of American music. A contributor to multiple gold, platinum, and multi-platinum records, he is best known for his work alongside Neil Young, performing more than 300 shows while touring and recording with bands including the Shocking Pinks, the International Harvesters, and the Electric Band. He also appears on Young’s Grammy-winning album Prairie Wind.
Earlier in his career, Crawford spent time in Los Angeles recording with producer Pete Anderson, the guitarist behind Dwight Yoakam’s early records. During that same era, he toured extensively with singersongwriter Nicolette Larson, further establishing himself as a dynamic and versatile musician.
Over the years, Crawford has collaborated with a wide range of artists including Steve Winwood, Dwight Yoakam, Vince Gill, Rodney Crowell, and Steve Forbert. As a songwriter, his work has been recorded by artists such as Steve Winwood, Dwight Yoakam, Kenny Rogers, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Sawyer Brown, Billy Burnette, Lee Greenwood, Lorrie Morgan, and The Oak Ridge Boys.
Now based on the Alabama Gulf Coast, Crawford performs with his wife and musical partner Savana Lee as Anthony Crawford with Savana Lee. Together they bring a deep catalog of original songs to the stage —music shaped by decades on the road, in the studio, and in the enduring tradition of American roots music.
Matthew Wojo
Matthew Wojo was born and raised in Daphne, Alabama. As a former college athlete, most of his focus in high school and college was centered around baseball; however, music always remained steadily in the background. Over the last couple of years, Matt’s focus shifted to spending more time playing live gigs around Mobile and Baldwin Counties and writing original music. Matthew draws from a wide variety of genres including soft rock, blues, country, and more.
Brandon Norris
Brandon Norris, a singer-songwriter from Monroeville, AL, has spent the last several years traveling the south, singing his songs to anyone who will listen. Since 2023, he has recorded and released 4 self-produced albums, and the latest is called Broken Hearts & Worn Out Shoes.
Faith Pierce
As the head of Don’t Quote Me Comedy, Faith Pierce brings laughs to everyone from single moms to college bros alike, with her clean but cheeky take on everyday life. She’s opened for RobbieTheFire, battled her way through a roast showdown, and brought big laughs on the panel based show Hack and Forth, produced by Comedy Break In. With a style that’s sharp, relatable, and just a little mischievous, she proves that clean comedy can still hit hard and leave audiences laughing long after the show!
