The People's Gallery Project OPENING NIGHT

Welcome to The People's Gallery Project OFFICIAL GRAND OPENING! After one full year of hosting pop-up galleries and showcases througout Philadelphia, we are opening up our very own permanent arts and wellness center in Center City. Join us for a night of art, music, and community as we celebrate the opening of our new gallery space. Come see the work of local artists and enjoy special live performances from talented musicians. The event will take place on Sat Sep 14 2024 at 6pm at 1034 Pine St. We are so thrilled to share this huge step forward with you! Let's welcome in a new chapter and fill the gallery with love, creativity, and connection.

This is a safe and supportive environment to enjoy yourself, connect with local artists and entrepreneurs, support local artists, have fun, and just be.

The People's Gallery Project is an Occupational Therapy initiative to provide marginalized artists with unique entrepreneurship opportunities. We believe that art is conducive to healing and that all individuals should have the opportunity to work and sustain themselves through fulfilling entrepreneurial ventures. We are holding a series of unique community events and showcases which combine visual and performance arts in collaboration with a range of local artists and creatives. Our purpose in hosting these events is to foster community-centered healing by creating safe spaces for all individuals to come together for a shared experience. All artwork is for sale and 100% of the profits of anything sold goes directly to the artists in an effort to minimize the barriers that artists face in reaching professional and financial independence.
