The People's Community Health Walk 2026
About this Event
Join Pan-African Community Action (PACA) for the People's Community Health Walk, a community walk through Southeast DC promoting movement, preventative health, and collective wellness. Beginning at Anacostia Park (2200 Anacostia Dr. SE), we'll walk approximately 2.1 miles over 40–45 minutes at a comfortable community pace to the R.I.S.E. Demonstration Center (2730 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. SE), with hydration and healthy snack stops along the way. After the walk, participants are invited to the People's Pan-African Wellness Front, where free blood pressure screenings, fresh produce, preventative health information, and other wellness resources are offered. Our health is collective, and our communities deserve the resources to thrive. Join us as we walk toward community health, self-determination, and community control.
Free and open to all ages and genders. Water and healthy snacks will be provided during the walk.
