The Pensive Pint is a public dialogue held in a casual, welcoming setting. It is not a lecture, debate, or class, but a shared inquiry organized around a single question chosen by the group. Participants are invited to think together—carefully, openly, and without pressure to persuade or defend fixed positions. The goal is not consensus or final answers, but better questions, clearer thinking, and the experience of genuine conversation. No background in philosophy is required. Listening matters as much as speaking, and speaking is always optional.

Philosopher Michael Spicher will facilitate the dialogue, helping the group explore big questions and see the world a little differently—one sip at a time.
