About the Retreat:
Come join us on Sunday, May 10th, 2026 from 2-5pm at Public Shop & Gallery for The Pause: A mini-Mindfulness Retreat - an intuitively curated space by to hit the pause button on daily demands, rest and reset, reconnect with Self, Spirit and community, and be in the present moment. No frills, no distractions. Just pure awareness in community. Intention: Integrate experiences and lessons from previous states of being, seasons, and the "past" through presence, and release what no longer serves us, so that we can fully receive the opportunities available to us in the here and now.
We're intentionally providing a dedicated space and energetic container of community, joy, and restoration for women and non-binary folks who identify as:
- Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)/The global majority
- LGBTQIA2S+
Allies and supporters of all races, ethnicities, gender identities and expressions, and sexual orientation are welcome to attend and join us in this sacred space!

What to Bring:
- Journal/paper and pen
- Headphones and phone or laptop. You’ll be using an unlisted YouTube video for the breath work. Multiple breathing techniques will be available to fit the needs of attendees, including breathing with and without breath retentions for those with physical and mental health conditions.
- Dress in comfortable clothes (e.g., athleisure, yoga or workout clothes, sweatpants, loose fitting clothes, sneakers). We will be engaging in light movement, including rebounding/lymphatic jumps.

Optional Considerations
- Bring a yoga mat, blanket, or floor pillow - regular chair seating is available for all, but bring these if you prefer to lie down or sit on the floor during meditation and breath work.
- BYOS event - Deepen your connection with Self, Spirit, and community during Happier Hour.
- A Spirit forward sangria, herbal blends, and/or functional mocktails are included with the Inner Circle and The Sanctuary tickets, so choose accordingly!
- The goal is to be slightly elevated but still rooted in the earthly/physical realm!
