The two fellas in Angry Cat are very proud to bring you the legend of all legends, Paul Collins. First show in Copenhagen ever.

This is why we started Angry Cat Shows to do shows like this. The Nerves and Paul Collins Beat are long time favorites in our record collection.

The Nerves were formed in 1974 and in 1976 they did their only official release a 7" that would define the whole genre of Power Pop. Very uncommon those days, The Nerves were booking their own tours and release the 7" themselves. The rest is history.

From 1979 - 89 he released albums with The Beat (later Paul Collins Beat), among them memorable Power Pop classics.

Paul Collins catalogue is endless and this night he will play a selection of greatest hits. He should be playing arenas with those songs, but this evening you can watch the show at Basement and see for yourself that this guy is indeed, The King Of Power Pop.
