Shu Nakamura Band is a Brooklyn-based project led by Japanese guitarist, composer, and music producer Shu Nakamura. Blending elements of jazz, funk, rock, pop, and psychedelic soundscapes, the band creates a distinctive, groove-driven sound that moves fluidly between structured compositions and improvisation. Drawing from Japanese urban music culture and New York’s diverse live scene, their performances balance musicality with spontaneity, offering immersive sets that resonate with a wide range of audiences. Nakamura’s compositions span a wide emotional and thematic range—from playful, comedic stories inspired by food and pets like dogs and cats, to more introspective works with psychological depth. In addition to his performance work, he is also active as a music educator. The current lineup features Derek Cheever (bass), Gerry Newland (keys), and Takuto Fukushima (drums), with a rotating cast of collaborators contributing to the project’s dynamic live sound.

DECOSTER UNIVERSE is the brainchild of Paul DeCoster, a power pop singer/songwriter whose music takes cues from BritPop like The Police, XTC, and Squeeze. The lyrics investigate the gamut of human emotions and stories with a bent toward the optimistic.

Patti Rothberg's music career started with New York City subway busking. Her 1996 EMI debut gold album, "Between the One and the Nine", led to appearances on Jay Leno, David Letterman, international TV, and major world touring, opening for artists such as Pat Benatar, Chris Isaak, Paul Westerberg, The B52's, and many others. She also performed at NYC radio station Z100's "Girls Rule the Yule" at Madison Square Garden in 1996.
She has released nine albums, had a number one hit on rock radio, and a top 25 single on the US billboard charts with the song "Inside". Patti's music has had a significant influence on generation X rock fans, especially women.
