Ever since visiting a Folk Festival, I've been non-stop into this music. It's natural energy leaves you with a fullfilment akin to the feeling of reuniting with loved ones as its melodies hark back to more connected times. Combine this with punk rock, and you get a grittier feel. Presenting The Pastures...A tight 4-piece with material covering today's injustices and inequalities, they have traversed various lineups through their years to arrive at their high-energy show.
Supporting are Elephant Memoirs, a heartfelt, straight-talking alt-rock trio whose experiences are expressed through hints of punk flavours amid riff rock. The melodic vocals sit inbetween heavy guitar and bass lines with a semi-anthemic quality.
Opening is Torn Apart By Lisa, an acoustic act composed of singer-songwriter James Berry. He combines his many influences drawn from years of performing covers to his original material.
