The Parent Survival Social
About this Event
Raising a college-bound teen, or recently launched one? Confused by the media commotion about mental health in teens and twenty-somethings?
We invite you to a conversation with Mathilde Ross, MD, a senior staff psychiatrist at the Boston University counseling center and author of the new book How to Thrive at College: A Guide to the Ups and Downs of Mental Health on Campus. With nearly two decades of experience in the college setting, Dr. Ross brings a rich appreciation for the forces impacting the mental health of your people.
Her essays on mental health and parenting have been published in The New York Times and The Boston Globe. She will be discussing mental health in the teen years, achievement culture, and prevention, as well as taking your questions.
