A little knowledge of geology can add much to our enjoyment of the landscape around us. This illustrated talk will show how fossil evidence can be used to reconstruct the environments and animals in the Sussex area 140 million years ago. These include the Iguanodon dinosaur, which left its bones and huge footprints in local sediments.
