About the play:
The Outsiders follows Ponyboy Curtis and his brothers as they struggle to find their place in a world that seems determined to keep them divided. Set against the backdrop of rival gangs, fast cars, and the search for belonging, the story explores loyalty, identity, and the painful beauty of growing up. When the tension between the Greasers and the Socs finally boils over, Ponyboy is forced to face hard truths about friendship, courage, and what it really means to “stay gold.” Powerful, heartfelt, and deeply human, this timeless coming-of-age story reminds us that no matter where we come from, we all share the same hope to be understood.
