For The Outlaws, it’s always been about the music. For more than 40 years, the Southern Rock pioneers—known for their triple-guitar attack, soaring harmonies, and hits like “Green Grass & High Tides,” “There Goes Another Love Song,” and “Knoxville Girl”—have remained one of the genre’s most enduring and best-loved bands. Formed in Tampa in 1972, they quickly earned a reputation as “The Florida Guitar Army” while touring alongside the Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and The Marshall Tucker Band.After years of triumphs, challenges, and the loss of founding members, Henry Paul returned to lead the band in 2008, guiding The Outlaws back to the sound and spirit that defined them. Today, Paul—joined by Dave Robbins, Randy Threet, Jimmy Dormire, Mike Bailey, and Jeff Aulich—carries the torch forward with a lineup of seasoned Southern Rock players.
