Is public art a time capsule of the past or a living treasure upon which to build a vibrant, revitalized town center? What should happen to contested sites of public memory? Who should decide? This talk, along with the photography exhibit on display in The Vault Gallery, seek to deepen our sense of space and place in Georgia, and their relevance to community identity.
