About this Event
Many patients presenting for prosthodontic treatment will require some form of orthodontic treatment. Pre-prosthetic orthodontic treatment can facilitate restorative work in many ways, from levelling gingival margins for better smile lines, bite opening and tooth intrusion to provide clearance for restorative materials minimizing tooth preparation, to implant space preparation. With the advent of TADs and customized appliances interdisciplinary treatment has developed a much wider scope with many options available. This lecture will explore how the incorporation of 3D planning, TADs and customized appliances can facilitate management of simple as well as more complex interdisciplinary ortho-pros cases.
