The Orpheuscapade 2024

You are invited to Mardi Gras biggest party! This eight-hour black tie gala includes a front row seat to the Orpheus parade and 8 hours of live music featuring Orpheuscapade headliner Taylor Dayne and dance spectacular will be Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, 12 South, and The Mixed Nuts. They will be celebrating the 31st anniversary with Monarchs Neil Patrick Harris & David Burtka.

Experience a side of Mardi Gras seldom seen by New Orleanians or visitors, and join us for the Orpheuscapade. This black tie event begins with live music and dancing until the magic moment when the gigantic floats arrive. As the entire parade rolls through the convention center, guests are showered with beads, doubloons, and other throws that fly fast and furious from the magnificent floats. Once the floats are inside, the music resumes, and dancing and merriment reign.

The Krewe of Orpheus Parade will roll through the streets of New Orleans on February 12, 2024 beginning at 6:00 pm. Starting at Tchoupitoulas and Napoleon and ending at the New Orleans

Convention Center where the Orpheuscapade will be underway.

Parade Route:

• The Krewe of Orpheus parade will start at the intersection of Napoleon Avenue and Tchoupitoulas Street in New Orleans.
• The parade will proceed north until St. Charles Avenue, where the krewe will turn east (right).
• The Krewe of Orpheus will follow St. Charles all the way to Lee Circle, around the circle and back on St. Charles northward to Canal Street.
• At Canal, the parade will turn southeastward (right).
• The krewe will follow Canal to the intersection of Canal and Tchoupitoulas Street, where the parade will turn south (right).
• The Krewe of Orpheus will follow Tchoupitoulas to Julia Street, where it will turn east (left).
• The parade will continue on Julia St. until it reaches Convention Center Blvd where it will take a right and end at the Convention Center and Henderson St.
