Join us on Saturday 29th for a rare performance by The Fallen Apples! The duo will showcase their original compositions, led by Mirasol Aguila’s soulful, powerful vocals and supported by Gaby Courroux’s otherwordly guitar skills. Alternating intimate, poignant melodies and uplifting tunes in both English and Tagalog, you won’t want to miss the concert of those two staples of the Phnom Penh music scene.
Multi-instrumentalist and singer Greg Beshers (The Extraordinary Chambers, Electric Muxu Orchestra, Cambodia Country Band, The Riverside Kings etc), plays a mix of classic soul, r&b, rock, proto punk and whatever else he feels like. He has released several albums and EP's of orginal material & has co-written and recordesld dozens of other songs with indie artists. As his second wife was fond of saying, 'if you dig music, you might like Greg"
Sleepin Tom is a solo acoustic act from Toronto Canada playing his own original songs. Thomas Dallan, the sole member, is a very active musician in Phnom Penh playing bass guitar in several projects. These include The Visa Runners, Alli G and Thequilas, and his solo material. Thomas has lived in Cambodia for almost 2 years, and you can find him most Thurs nights at LOLA open mic playing bass for anyone who needs it.
The Sleepin Tom sound is upbeat acoustic with bluesy undertones and a focus on being catchy without losing any of the emotion from the lyrics. There is also some indie and pop punk influence in the vocal phrasing.
