*ABOUT THE TEMPLE
THE ORACLE is an evening temple journey into the dark as the liminal space before life. The womb of the Mother. The womb of creation. The fertile unknown from which something new can emerge.
There are moments in our lives (and in humanity) when the way forward cannot be found by thinking harder, planning more, or searching for another answer outside ourselves.
There are moments when we are asked instead to become quiet enough to listen.
This temple is an invitation to enter that space.
Through embodiment, ritual, meditation, movement, myth and collective ceremonial practice, we will begin to soften the identities and personas through which we ordinarily meet the world, and turn our awareness toward the deeper layers of the psyche. Opening the subconscious.
Toward image, sensation, symbol and the subtle movements of the inner world where guidance may arise before it has words.
In many spiritual traditions, darkness precedes creation. Before form, there is formlessness. Before the seed breaks open, it rests beneath the soil. Before birth, life gestates unseen inside the womb.
Darkness can therefore become a space of profound creativity.
A place where what is familiar begins to dissolve and another possibility can quietly organise itself.
In this temple, we enter the dark symbolically and somatically to become more intimate with what lives underneath the surface.
To listen beneath conditioning, expectation and performance.
Beneath the identities we have learned to inhabit.
And perhaps, from there, to hear something more original.
This is not just a temple for you, it is a collective service journey, where we come together as listeners and seers of the collective field.
No previous experience with temple, ritual, somatics or spiritual practice is necessary.
Only curiosity, self-responsibility and a willingness to listen.
*TEMPLE IS SACRED SPACE
Temple is a space set apart from ordinary life. A threshold.
A place where we intentionally slow down enough to become aware of dimensions of experience that can easily disappear beneath the speed and demands of everyday life.
Our work begins with the body.
Through somatic exploration, ritual, movement, meditation, intuitive practice and symbolic inquiry, we explore the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual dimensions of being. This follows the same embodied, multidimensional understanding of temple space that underpins Hathor Heka's other temple work.
Everything within the temple is an invitation.
Your sovereignty remains central to the work.
You are always encouraged to remain connected to your body, boundaries, rhythm and inner yes and no.
*A TRAUMA-INFORMED SPACE
This temple is held with awareness of the impact of trauma and with an intention toward consent, choice, boundaries, empowerment and self-responsibility.
You are never required to participate in a practice that does not feel right for you.
This temple is a practice of becoming available to the intelligence that creates Life.
