Whether you're a filmmaker looking to showcase your work or just love watching short films, this event is for you.

Filmmakers submit your film here by Jan. 14 to reserve your spot. You'll receive e-mail confirmation that your work will be be shown, then join us at telos.haus on January 17th! Free entry for filmmakers showing work.

• Submit your film as soon as you can. This is to minimize any last minute issues (WiFi problems, random other tech issues, Murphy's Law) at the event, to make sure your film is displayed the way you intended, and to ensure work follows the submission guidelines listed both below and on the submission form.

Want to kick back, check out local talent and hang out? We're having an open mic for short films - Join us!

The Open Mic for Short Film Night is a new, community oriented event where anyone can share their work in front of a live audience of fellow creators and film lovers. A platform for all, a chance to see work from the local community, a chance for your work to be seen, and an opportunity to meet other people passionate about film!

Filmmakers are requested to submit ahead of time to help keep the event running smooth and to ensure that work follows the submission guidelines. Tickets will be sent to Filmmakers after submission with confirmation that they're on the list of work to be shown on January 17th.
After the film screenings, we'll have about an hour at the end for filmmakers and audience members to meet other film lovers and creators, ask for feedback on their films, or just unwind and socialize!Whether you’re debuting a brand-new project, dusting off something from the vault, or just looking to connect with other film lovers, this is your chance to share, network, and be inspired.
Calling all filmmakers, storytellers, and cinema lovers—this is your stage!

• 4:00 to 4:30. Doors open, come grab a seat!

• 4:30. The show begins!

• 7:00. Time to socialize!

• 8:00 Event is over.

• Submitting will be the equivalent of signing up on the list. First come, first screened.

• Filmmakers (or a team member) are required to attend the event for their film to be screened. If you submit work - come to the event!

• Submissions should have a runtime between 4 and 20 minutes.

• At this time, only accepting works that tell a story and have artistic integrity. All genres, categories, and subject matter are welcome. • Films that are made to offend or are inappropriate will not be accepted. This is different than a film that challenges viewpoints and makes people think. Those will be accepted.• No ads, promotions, etc. will be allowed.

• Open Mic For Short Film Night and/or telos.haus are not responsible for any loss, damage, or rights disputes arising from submitted works.

• Please respect the space. It's excellent of telos.haus to let us use their space, let's be excellent to them.

• Entries will be closed if the time limit for the event space is reached.

• Event space is not accessible via wheelchair as there are stairs to get to the event space.
