Anomaly House is proud to present the Alt-Space concert series, featuring some of the most creative and unique acts in independent Alternative Music. Join us at Humdinger Brewing in San Luis Obispo on Saturday, August 10th for a live show featuring...THE ONLY OCEAN: Alt-Rock / Post-Punk from Los Angeles, CA. Known for their unique blend of indie rock and post-punk influences, The Only Ocean's sound is characterized by dreamy guitar riffs, driving rhythms, and heartfelt lyrics that explore the complexities of relationships, body image, and self-discovery. Since their formation, the band has released several critically acclaimed albums and EPs, and has toured extensively throughout the California coast, building a dedicated fan base with their high-energy live performances and emotionally charged songwriting.
ZAMPKAMP: Alt-Rock / "Pretty Boy" Industrial from Santa Barbara, CA. Zampkamp is an independent music project from multi-instrumentalist and producer Zackary Cramp. His sound features massive bass guitar, synthesizer, and lo-fi drum machine sounds; and lyrics dripping with cynicism that point out the absurdity of the modern world, while celebrating the pleasures that romance, movement, and sin bring to our humanity. Though a solo project in the studio, Zampkamp performs live as a three-piece band.
SHADOW CONSTRUCT 47: Synthwave / Darkwave Presented by Janus Corp. Shadow Construct 47 is a genetically modified, cybernetically enhanced Musical Creation Unit (TM) designed to evoke human emotion through the synthesis of electronic tones; blended with selectively curated lingustic phrases, intended to forge a psychological connection with the listener through the Familiarity Principle. Doors open at 7:30 and the show starts at 8:00. 21+ only w/ valid ID.
