The Only After Dark Country Club

It will take place in the first floor club room at www.the-embankment.co.uk
PLEASE NOTE - To access the club room please enter The Embankment on the left-hand side and go up the stairs to the first floor, the club room is then on your right.
The Only After Dark Country Club is an event based on the Bowie nights and the Rum Runner/Blitz Club nights of the late '70s/early '80s.
MUSIC
Most of the tracks played originate from the early '70s up to the mid '80s, added to which will be a few later tracks by some of the core artists.
There are at least half a dozen Bowie tracks added to which are a selection of tracks by artists such as Bauhaus, Clash, Cure, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Echo & the Bunnymen, Human League, Japan, New Order, Roxy Music, Sex Pistols, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Soft Cell, Spandau Ballet, Stranglers, T Rex, and Talking Heads, along with many other artists from the Glam Rock, Punk, Post-punk, Synth-pop, New Romantic, and Goth genres, as well as occasional tracks from other genres of the time.
You will also hear a few tracks by post-1985 artists who were influenced by the era, such as Suede, Pulp, Morrissey, Placebo.
It will be a mix of hit singles, lesser hits, and album tracks.

Trains arrive at Stratford-upon-Avon at 12.19pm and 1.19pm.
Trains leave from Stratford-upon-Avon at 6.26pm and 7.26pm.
BUS
X20 to and from Stratford-upon-Avon/Solihull via Shirley - 11 min walk to The Embankment.
Buses arrive at Stratford-upon-Avon at 12.14pm and 2.14pm.
Bus leaves from Stratford-upon-Avon at 6.14pm.
CLOAKROOM
There is a clothes rail inside the club room by the bar that is free to use, although we take no responsibility for your belongings.
TOILETS
Gents - At the top of the stairs before you enter the club room.
Ladies - Access through the door to the left of the DJ booth.
SMOKING AREA
Access through the door to the left of the DJ booth and down the stairs.
VISUALS
The music is accompanied by videos on 4 TV screens.
AIR CONDITIONING
The club room has air conditioning.
DISABLED ACCESS
There is no disabled access/lift to the club room.
There is, however, a public disabled access toilet to the left of the entrance to The Embankment.
DRESS CODE
The more individual and glamorous the better, but most important ... be yourself.
