Collective Voices for Change (CVFC) & Black Lindy Hoppers Fund (BLHF)
PRESENTS:
✨ THE OLD SCHOOL 2026 ✨
An event primarily aiming to:
• Offer a learning space for Black and POC community members with culturally competent instructors.
• Introduce Jazz Dances (Lindy Hop, Jazz, and Tap) from African American traditions to practitioners of other Street and Club dance forms.
Our panel of Educators, Artists, & Dancers is well-versed in these vernacular dances and connected to contemporary Black dance communities. Using their knowledge, they will bridge the understanding of music and movement of Jazz and Swing for a weekend of fun exploration and exchange.
