In this adaptation of Homer’s epic, we follow Odysseus, the legendary King of Ithaca, on his long and perilous journey home following the Trojan War. Throughout his voyage, he is forced to confront the whims of gods, mythological monsters, and trials that stretch both his cunning and his humanity to the breaking point.
*Join us on Saturday, July 18th, after the 6:25pm screening for a post-film discussion with panelist Tiffany Bryant-Jackson (actor, teaching artist, and Education Manager at Three Bone Theatre), Scott Tynes-Miller (owner and manager of Troubadour Booksellers), Mia S. Willis (poet, educator, cultural historian, and the author of THE SPACE. BETWEEN MEN) , and William S. Davis (professor in the Film Studies Program at UNC Charlotte). The discussion will be moderated by Claire Lechtenberg, Director of Development & Marketing.
