About this Event

The OD Hackathon hosts 8 hands-on OD hacks including appreciative inquiry, team coaching, Lego Serious Play, and more. Learn from international practitioners including Professor Tony Wall, Dr Rachel Robins, Afshan Baksh, and others.

It is for those evolving into OD roles or those wanting to refresh and hone their practice. Specifically, it will enable participants to

1. keep up-to-date with OD practice and key challenges around engagement, voice, inclusion, and wellbeing

2. share issues with specialists in live Q&A style dialogue

3. develop their credibility and showcase their expertise in writing and sharing their work with other practitioners globally through the open-access, ranked Journal of Work-Applied Management.

As the event will be action-oriented, delegates will be expected to be prepared to take action during and after the event.

The OD Hackathon is supported by the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development), GCWAL (Global Centre for Work Applied Learning) and ALARA (Association for Action Learning and Action Research) to share and future-proof organisational development practice and practitioner research.

This event is one of many benefits of CIPD membership.

This event is hosted and supported by Liverpool Business School at Liverpool John Moores University.
