Irish twins The Ocelots bring their incredible folk songs to The Old Church on the Hill, Bendigo, as part of their 2026 Australian tour.Blood harmonies are the center of Irish twins The Ocelots sound-imperfections of a voice breaking or a tempo shifting. Compelling indie-folk with open tuned guitar, claw-hammer banjo and harmonica, the twin brothers blend absurdity, sincerity and hilarious stage banter into an array of literature-inspired musings.
Returning to Australia for their third tour, after runs in 2019 and 2020, The Ocelots are playing songs from their new album 'Everything, When Said Slowly' and appearing at Woodford Folk Festival (QLD), Port Fairy Folk Festival (VIC), Blue Mountains Music Festival(NSW), Nannup Music Festival (WA) and venue shows across the country from January to March 2026.
This top shelf duo will bring their songs to ‘The Old Church on the Hill’ in Bendigo on Saturday 14 February for a musical evening not to be missed. (Opener to be announced.)
Doors open 7pm for a 7:30pm start.
About the venue:
The Old Church on the Hill is on Djaara Country, the land of the Dja Dja Wurrung people, and is located on the corner of Harkness and Russell Streets, Quarry Hill, Bendigo.
The Singer/Songwriter Showcase events, staged at the Old Church by the Bendigo Blues & Roots crew on a semi-regular basis, are an opportunity to enjoy a House Concert vibe in a public venue. The door charge is kept as low as possible to ensure accessibility to all. Under 12s free and, although drinks are available for sale, the focus is on THE MUSIC.
Proceeds from drink sales go to supporting the Old Church crew and their many worthy initiatives.
