At our Dining Out: the best in the land.
It is my pleasure to invite you to the New York City Group Dining Out, to be held on Saturday, 5 October 2024, 1300-1700 hours, at the John Hughes Club, 1305 86th Street, Brooklyn NY 11228.
This is NYC Group's first large-scale, in-person event since the pandemic, and we are hoping to make it a big one. In years past, our annual event took the form of a Military Ball. This year, we are holding a formal Dining Out.
The Dining Out, and its close relative, the Dining In, are a very old tradition. General Henry “Hap "Arnold, one of the most illustrious leaders in the history of our US Air Force, was famous for “Wing Dings,” his version of the Dining In.
NYC Group’s Dining Out promises to be an afternoon of fun and camaraderie for all members and their guests. We have a very special guest speaker lined up, and maybe a few surprises.
