Poi Passion Kate Wright is making a comeback with a one-day poi retreat.
The nature of poi flow will be combining skills with
Matt Dumbleton for the nature of sword flow.
A day out in nature with the elements learning to focus, breathe, coordinate and flow ground learn and play,
combined with the beauty of nature. Working closely with ourselves, the elements, and how to work in a flow state.

Day Program
10 am Get a hot drink open circle, meet your teachers
10.15 am warm-up and POI FLOW with Kate Wright and Shell Bell
11.15 am Drinks and Rest
11.30- 12.30 pm POI FLOW
12.30- 1-30 pm Lunch and break and shearing
1.30-2-30pm Swords flow with Matt
2.30-3 pm Drink and rest
3-3-45pm free flow play your skill.
3-34-4 pm feedback and shearing workshop ends,
What is Poi?
poi is traditional from New Zealand and has been part of their tribal culture for 1000 years. It is performed alongside the haka, which tells the story of their history.
In modern times poi has become part of the flow world community. Often seen at festivals as part of the circus skills area,
What is Sword
Flow a combination of restorative movements and sequences with a martial aspect? This art comes from a range of disciplines. And has years of experience in martial arts.

About Kate
Founder of Poi Passion Circus and Fire Arts, has spent years performing and teaching the art of Poi flow and dancing, with 25 years of experience, the poi school shut down last year after 20 years of hosting training, teacher and fire Poi training.

Warm clothing, waterproof clothing, gloves boots as it can get Muddy, an open and strong mind, more warm clothing PACKED LUNCH AND WATER

This is a Private campsite you will be parking on the Ground as you come into the Main gate area, there is a toilet there you can use before you walk up the hill to the workshop area,
