This shortened version (approx 1hr) of the Nutcracker story takes place during the magical party when Klara receives her beloved Nutcracker and then several divertissements from the Land of Sweets entertain us. A lively scene follows with the Nutcracker and his soldiers battling the Mouse King and his mice. Finally, the Snow Queen and her King dance with their Snowflakes. Upon arrival into the theater, children will get the unique opportunity to watch the professional technical crew prepare for the show, have a question and answer session with the director and learn about important audience etiquette. The cost is $10 per child over the age of 3, $12 per parent (only 1 adult per family please) Payment and headcount is due by October 9th, and can be sent to:

!!! When you send payment, please include your name, the total number of children attending, a good contact phone number for you, and the date/location of the show you are purchasing seats for. There are no physical tickets for this event, so your provided information will be confirmed at the door to help escort you to the proper seating area. This is a multi school/group event and seating is assigned.
I understand this payment is due pretty far in advance but all coordinators of VRB are volunteers and also have children performing in the show. It is extremely time consuming and plans need to be made far in advance to accommodate not only homeschooling families, but also many private and public schools of the community.
