Swiggle Mandela is one of the most prominent figures in the Portland hip hop community. He has been making music almost his entire life and is the leader of the collaborative La Familia Gang Music, which includes his two brothers Timmi HendriXXX and Jasey Cordeta, along with a bevy of other artists primarily based in Portland. In October 2015, Mandela released “Portland Parks,” which he says is when his music matured and he dedicated all of his time and resources to making music. Mandela opened Shop La Familia and Co-op in North Portland in January 2019 to give hip hop artists a place to sell their music, merchandise and art. One of his main inspirations to open a store was Nipsey Hussle. He has since traveled around the country playing shows, including recent trips to Detroit and Los Angeles. Critics praise Mandela’s musical versatility, lyricism, and conscious rap style. In October 2019, Mandela released his debut album Portlandsterdam

Anthony Rivera is a West Coast rapper, artist, activist, poet, and advocate. His music is lyrical, thoughtful, and intentional. Anthony has survived and maintained his life from his passion and joy for music. Anthony has become a staple in the Portland hip-hop scene, recently earning an award for "In Good Hands" from Portland Hip-Hop Week for his hard work and dedication to building the future of PDX hip-hop. Anthony's musical library contains songs that inspire those facing adversity in their lives, with content about equality, justice, mental health challenges, substance abuse recovery, and criminal rehabilitation. He has a passion for sharing music with community, founding the movement "Hip-Hop for Love" which brings local families and individuals together through music, free food, and resources. Each release of Anthony's shares his growth as a musician and human with his vulnerable and relatable collection.

Don’t Get It Twisted. CEO and Official Recording Artist At Big Bet Studios, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist and Public Figure. My love and passion for music came at a young age. I always had a dream that I was determined to put myself in the position to follow. Long story short I worked industrial manufacturing jobs the past 11-12 years. In that time I saved up as much as I could and was able to purchase my first home at the age of 25. Then After a few years i finally found my self with a new and higher paying job with a set schedule. Although it was a blessing I still felt stuck and as if It wasn’t what I was meant to do in life. So after being inspired by a friend who had a home recording studio I started investing in my very own studio at age 29. Making music felt so natural and fluent to me that after work every single day I would clock out to just to rush home and clock in the studio to create more and more music. still to this day I am on that same grind and I have definitely accomplished a lot since then due to my drive, passion and determination. My dream is to create music full time and to finally hang up that hard hat for good. I know that day will be here soon. Don’t ever believe it when they say that it’s too late to follow your dreams. Just know that timing is everything and I believe that this is my time.

The Oregonization launched our first EP back in 2013. That EP had 5 tracks and got us off the ground. We followed up the EP with our first full length album in August 2014 that had 14 tracks, including 5 tracks from the EP. released in late 2016.The Oregonization II was released in late 2016 and was a fun project with some new friends that I met in the rap game from Seattle, Memphis, and Portland/Vancouver area.The Oregonization III was released in 2020 and has done incredible for us.The Oregonization IV released in October 2022 and is on FIRE right now with more video views than we have ever had, and we are currently working on The Oregonization V which is expected to be released mid-summer 2023! The Oregonization, is one man…..J Reid. The Oregonization started with 4 men…J Reid, Mercy B, Ant Sincere, and Chillest Illest. The vision was for old friends who have been friends for well over 20 years to make a record. We did that, now J Reid is still doing his thing with features from some of our areas top artists.Bangin’ beats, great vocals, tracks that mean something, not just lyrics, and a lot of fun = The Oregonization.
