About this Event

Presented by Moro Cultural Experiences, a division of Moro Hospitality Group, in partnership with Tres Noir Media.

The Magnitude of the Evening

The Noir Gala is an annual black-tie cultural benefit held during Art Basel Paris, convening global creatives, cultural leaders, philanthropists, and visionaries for an evening dedicated to honoring artistic excellence and investing in the future of underrepresented communities.

More than a celebration, The Noir Gala is a philanthropic gathering at the intersection of culture, couture, and collective impact — recognizing Black, Brown, and underrepresented creatives whose work reshapes narratives across fashion, media, entertainment, and the arts.

Hosted by Tres Noir Media, the evening serves as both an awards ceremony and a fundraising initiative, transforming cultural recognition into tangible community advancement.

100% of gala proceeds are reinvested into the arts through the Kim-Musa Foundation, a grassroots nonprofit committed to expanding opportunity through:

Affordable housing initiatives
Educational scholarships for emerging creatives
Holistic community resources and cultural programming

By attending, guests directly contribute to sustaining artistic ecosystems and creating pathways for the next generation of visionaries.

Theme/Dress Code

Set against the global creative backdrop of Art Basel Paris, The Noir Gala brings together:

International designers and artists
Cultural tastemakers and media leaders
Philanthropists and industry innovators
Emerging voices shaping tomorrow’s creative landscape

The evening blends ceremony and purpose, featuring a red carpet reception, curated dining experience, live artistic performances, and honors recognizing individuals whose work advances culture beyond aesthetics — into impact.

This is not simply an awards show; it is a platform redefining how creativity, community, and philanthropy coexist.

Why Your Presence Matters

Cultural Couture: Heritage in Haute

An exploration of identity expressed through couture — where heritage becomes high fashion and personal narrative becomes art.

Guests are invited to embody cultural elegance through intentional, expressive formalwear that honors legacy while embracing innovation.

Suggested attire includes:

Couture gowns and tailored tuxedos
Cultural or ceremonial garments reimagined for formalwear
Luxury textiles and heritage craftsmanship
Editorial silhouettes and fashion-forward interpretations of black tie

Fashion is encouraged as storytelling.

Every ticket purchased and every seat at the table contributes to:

Funding creative education and access
Supporting marginalized communities
Preserving cultural storytelling
Building sustainable opportunities within the arts

The Noir Gala exists to ensure that culture is not only celebrated, but supported.

The Noir Gala stands as one of the largest open-to-the-public cultural award galas dedicated to elevating style with substance, honoring creatives not only for what they create, but for the change they inspire.

A Letter From the Founders

The Noir Gala was created from a simple belief: culture deserves both recognition and investment.

For generations, Black, Brown, and underrepresented creatives have shaped global culture, influencing fashion, art, music, and storytelling, often without equitable access to the resources needed to sustain their brilliance. This evening exists to change that reality.

Hosted during Art Basel Paris, The Noir Gala is more than a celebration of achievement; it is a commitment to legacy. Each honoree, guest, and supporter represents a shared vision of a creative industry where opportunity is expanded, stories are honored, and communities are strengthened through collective action.

Through the support of this gathering, we are able to reinvest directly into initiatives that provide housing stability, educational access, and holistic resources through the Kim-Musa Foundation — ensuring that creativity is not only admired, but supported at its roots.

Your presence is a powerful statement: that culture matters, that community matters, and that the future of the arts is something we build together.

With gratitude,

Sharon Kim and Adonis Musa Ali
