The Nimbles are an SF Bay Area-based band playing an entertaining and eclectic blend of music, from Blues to Latin Jazz to Southern Rock to Bluegrass, with a bit of Celtic, Eastern European and Alt-Folk influence when possible (we think of ourselves as genre-fluid).We feature four veteran musicians: a Russian-trained violinist doubling on mandolin, a southern/classic rock guitarist, a Berklee-trained bassist, and a lead singer with a background in Jazz and musical theatre. We perform a combination of original music and unique arrangements of more familiar tunes. One guarantee: you’ve never heard anything quite like The Nimbles—and you'll be glad you dropped in and checked us out.
