Paul Bell, a versatile D.C. guitarist, has left his mark on numerous influential bands, effortlessly shifting between soulful scratching and twangy country picking. Johnny Castle, a pillar of the group, traversed various music scenes from hard rock with Crank to the bluegrass circuit with Eddie and Martha Adcock before diving into the Rockabilly revival. His collaboration with Mark Wenner birthed the dynamic "Fugitive" project, blending electric blues with hard-rocking country classics. Mark Stutso, with two decades alongside Jimmy Thackery, adds a raw, visceral energy with his powerhouse vocals, honed through collaborations with music legends. Together, Bell, Castle, and Stutso form the backbone of The Nighthawks, pushing the boundaries of tradition while honoring their collective musical heritage.
