Nxa & Asli 007 present the Night Out of Time Kiki; journeying stories through time, planetary transits, fantasy and the speculative parables which predicted today’s unignorable fact.The Empire's time is up. On this precipice, no one is coming to save us; we are all we have and the new leaders are amongst us.
In this long dark night time stretches infinite as we assemble, root deep into the intuition which has guided us all along; we co-create the space we need where we thought we had none, and together conjure the new dawn.

Performance:
In the “Chronicles of Narnia” by CS Lewis, as characters step through the magic wardrobe and are transported to the world of Narnia – they are taken out of time. Once there time flows differently to how it does on Earth. Whole lifetimes or centuries pass by as mere moments in the real world.

Jadis, The White White is a legendary villain in Narnia. A Witch with the power to control ice, she hails from a lifeless planet with a dying sun where she reigned supreme as Empress. She brings her evil to Narnia and ushers in an unending Winter, turning the once beautiful world frozen & barren. A similar fate could befall Earth if "tyrants who care no more for joy and justice and mercy than the Empress Jadis" acquire power.
Bring it as this icy Villainess, in her signature white fur.

An ancient prophecy tells of the arrival of four siblings from Earth who are destined to end the White Witch’s reign and bring about a golden age in Narnia. As they embark upon this quest each of the siblings is gifted a weapon that suits them – a sword & shield, bow & arrows and a dagger.

Octavia Butler is hailed as the Godmother of Afrofuturism, and known for making eerily accurate predictions about the world today. In her 1993 novel, the "Parable of the Sower", she wrote of an apocalyptic earth in 2024 to 2027, where a fascist US president had been elected with a slogan of “Make America Great Again”.
The main character, 15 year old Lauren Olamina, journeys through California as it is ravaged by climate change, fires, racism, addiction and extreme violence. Her character is born with the power of “Hyper-empathy” - at times a blessing and a curse, which she uses as she begins to lead a new community through the fall of empire. She demonstrates incredible bravery, tenacity and leadership skills - proving that younger generations are key to revolution.

The approaching Lunar New Year in 10 days coincides with 2026’s first solar eclipse, bursting in the year of the Fire Horse - known as ‘double fire’. Fire Horse years have brought rapid change and transformations - with potential for chaos. When balanced with patience this intense heat can also bring great progress, and breakthroughs through persistence.

The White Rabbit embodies anxiety about time & keeping up with life's demands, always frantic rushing about and muttering about being late! For European Runway, come with a look inspired by the rabbit - with his signature waistcoat and pocket watch.
At the Mad Hatter's tea party it's always 6’ o'clock. For All American Runway, Bring it in an eccentric look inspired by this wonderful character. Top Hat mandatory.

Carrying on the legacy of Octavia Butler, is award winning, Black feminist Scifi author - NK Jemisin.
In her Broken Earth trilogy, the Moon is shattered as a result of human greed and evil, triggering a series of cataclysmic geological events. In this world, rife with disasters and earthquakes, a race of people known as ‘Orogenes’ have the power to control the earth's tectonic plates and help humanity to survive. But they are widely feared and face persecution or enslavement. Throughout this epic tale, the main characters grapple with systemic oppression, the fall of Empire, and restoring balance to the planet.
Bring it in a fashion forward deconstructed-reassembled look, like the moon smashed to pieces and put back together.
