The Next Show is a one-of-a-kind comedy experience produced by comedian Tavaris Smith (Amazon Prime Video, Don’t Tell Comedy) and actor Samantha Cardona (Station 19, The Goldbergs, Kajillionaire). Hosted in unique venues across the country, the show brings audiences an unforgettable night of stand-up featuring some of Los Angeles’ funniest rising comedians.
Dedicated to showcasing diverse voices, The Next Show primarily highlights comedians who are people of color and/or LGBTQ, creating a lineup that is fresh, dynamic, and representative of the next generation of comedy talent.
Since its launch in 2018, the show has traveled to 12 cities nationwide, building a reputation for discovering standout performers and delivering exceptional comedy in unexpected spaces.

About The Venue
baby battista is the downstairs bar located inside nico's in Atwater Village. The bar at baby battista is open at 5 so feel free to swing by before and grab a drink and a snack before the show! Doors for shows open 15 minutes before start time.
