Back by popular demand, The NewSouth Bookstore is hosting its second annual poetry read-aloud in celebration of National Poetry Month. National Poetry Month gives us an excuse to gather and celebrate, to rediscover the fun of reading aloud to friends, to rediscover the music and power of poetry. Find two favorites poems — can be those you’ve written — for carrying to The NewSouth Bookstore on Thursday, April 4 at 5:30pm. We’ll sit and listen, chairs in a circle, to a read-aloud of the verses we love. Need inspiration for the selecting of your poems? Browse our recently expanded poetry section.
