Hotam Press Gallery is pleased to present The News Room, an exhibition of works by artists that are made in the form of a newspaper, through our open call and our archive collection.
Although not all works are printed on the newsprint, the exhibition is also a celebration of the this humble yet diverse medium - a Canadian invention.
The News Room opens on January 29 and runs to February 26. The gallery is transformed into a reading room where visitors are free to sit down and read all the papers. However, due to our current safety measures under the pandemic, we are only open by appointment. Each visit is limited to 50 minutes, and good for a group of four individuals.
