The New Mary is a dark comedy play about a nun determined to become the next Virgin Mary. This is a taped reading of a play originally written for The Bushwick Starr's 2025 Reading Series. The writer, Sila Puhl, is a former resident artist at Ars Nova, producer on The Daily Show, and comedian who can be found performing stand-up all around LA and New York.
