The Gulf Coast New Horizons Band is a vibrant, intergenerational ensemble dedicated to the joy of making music and building community. Based in Sarasota, Florida, and hosted by the Music Compound, this dynamic group provides adults of all ages—whether rediscovering a passion for their instrument or learning for the first time—with a welcoming and supportive environment to create music together.

Inspired by the national New Horizons International Music Association, the Gulf Coast chapter embraces the belief that it's never too late to start or return to playing music. Through weekly rehearsals and performances, members develop their skills, forge friendships, and share their love of music with the wider community.

With a repertoire ranging from classic marches and pop standards to show tunes and light symphonic works, the band offers something for every listener.
