We are gearing up for our May 16 meeting at Your Theater! The theme is Big, Bright, Bold and interested artists can submit up to four pieces here: https://forms.gle/T45NWqAuLPzd35ua9Join us at 6 p.m. on May 16 at 159 William Street for a chance to meet the artists, hear their stories, and buy their art!
What: An opportunity for local New Bedford area artists to share and sell their work to an engaged group of collectors and art enthusiasts. Read about how we were inspired by the Detroit Fine Arts Breakfast Club.
Who: Any local artist who practices in one of the fine arts and all prospective art buyers. Disciplines include drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography and textiles. Click here to submit.
Hosts: Local artists Devin "Nived" McLaughlin and Scott Bishop.
Format: A short introduction from New Bedford Light, followed by 5-minute presentations and Q&A with each of our guest artists, followed by a talk from a special guest speaker. Each meeting is followed by a 30-minute “Afterglow,” a loosely structured open discussion among the artists, buyers and other attendees about art-related topics.
