The electrifying throw back pop ‘n rock tracks of DirtySpoon…The Original ska, rocksteady and reggae from The New Accidents integrating three-part harmonies and fresh horn lines will leave you Skankin!

THE NEW ACCIDENTS
(9:00PM 'til 10PM)
featuring members of Common Sense, The Liquidators, The Undertow, Real Super Kingsize and The Plastic Onion Band, play a fresh, enticing blend of ska, rocksteady and reggae.
Their sound comes from being weaned on rock, but later being heavily influenced by roots reggae, punk, metal, dub and ska, from bands such as The Clash, UB40, The English Beat, The Specials, Fishbone, and Sublime.
7 pieces are comprised of drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, trumpet, trombone, and tenor sax, along with 3 part harmonies.
The New Accidents formed in 2017 with the goal of creating fun and fresh original ska and reggae music, inspired by the music that we grew up on.
Based upon a roux of Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Jimmy Cliff, other influences include UB40, The Police, The Specials, The English Beat, Madness, The Clash, Fishbone, Pato Banton, and third wave bands such as Sublime and No Doubt.
The goal is to create something completely fresh and original without regards to boundaries.
That means that other bands that we grew up on such as rock icons The Stones, The Who, and Led Zeppelin also creep into our music.
The result is something that is fresh.
It’s not rootsy, it’s not hard-core ska, it’s not dancehall.
It’s The New Accidents.
We just fell into it.

DirtySpoon cranks out high energy, super dance-y beloved jams from the 80’s and 90’s. There’s nothing we love more than working our crows into a nostalgic frenzy.
Thunderous guitars, crashing drums, driving bass and soaring keyboards are blended with horns and multiple vocal layers for a damn fine time.
We’ve been jamming together now for 8 years and we almost have it figured out. It’s debatable who has the most fun at a DirtySpoon show - the band or the fans - but it’s pretty damn close.
And we are beyond stoked to put that to the test Friday October 25 at the one and only Boom Boom Room San Francisco, CA.
