Our final film for 2024, The Nettle Dress is a beautiful, moving film about the healing power of making. Made over seven years, this new release film has met with rave reviews and feels like a perfect way to round out our Motueka Community Film Circle for this year. Watch a story unfold as nettle is lovingly transformed into a stunning dress by the masterful hands of textile artist Allan Brown. Nettle tea will be on offer for a gold coin donation on the night!The Motueka Community Film Circle is a volunteer initiative supported by the Nelson Tasman Climate Forum and Network Tasman Trust.
