The IIEA Brussels Branch is delighted to invite you to join us for an event with John Clarke, on the subject of the Negotiator's Tale - Ten Lessons On How To Successfully Negotiate.
This will be an in-person event on the Tuesday 22th of October , starting at 19.00 at the Northern Ireland Executive Office, Chaussée d'Etterbeek 180,1040 Brussels. However, please do arrive by 18.45 at the location!
Following the event we will have a wine reception.

This meeting is open to all IIEA Members--who will get priority for tickets booked in advance.
Description of the Event :
John will give a light hearted and enlightening talk sharing his views and experience on how to conduct successful negotiations, drawing on his extensive experience. He will offer ten lessons for success in negotiating.
Biography of the speaker :
John Clarke is a Fellow at Maastricht University's Institute of Globalisation and a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society.
Until earlier this year John was Director for International Trade negotiations at the European Commission, and is a former Head of the EU Delegation to the WTO and UN in Geneva.
He was an official of the Hong Kong Government from 1983 to 1993 and has over thirty five years experience conducting international negotiations. He is also on the editorial board of the Journal of International Trade Law and Regulation and writes and lectures regularly around the world on trade and political and cultural topics. He is also Special Adviser on Trade for the Brussels-based public affairs consultancy FIPRA.
