CALLING ALL ARTISTIC PEOPLE!DEADLINE EXTENDED TIL NOON, MONDAY OCTOBER 17.
Friends of Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge is now accepting submissions for The Nature of Hackmatack NWR Art Show. The Show will be on display to the public 9 am - 5 pm Monday-Friday November 3-17, 2022 at The Dole, in the Dole Gallery Space and Sage Gallery, 401 Country Club Rd, Crystal Lake, IL. An Artist Reception will be held 5-8 pm on Friday, Nov. 11.
Submissions accepted from now until Noon, Monday Oct. 17. Visit https://hackmatacknwr.org/art-show/ for all the details regarding art submissions. We are seeking art pieces from Students Age 4 through Adult.
Focus of the work should be on the NATURE of our area and media can include:
• Photography and landscapes
• 2-D works - Painting, drawings, fabric works
• 3-D works - Sculptures, glassworks, pottery
• Poems and short writings
