The Natural Way to Draw Week 4: Drawing from Life with Lisa Carlson

Join Lisa Carlson for this four-week series (Tuesdays, Oct. 20 - Nov. 10) based on drawing concepts and exercises from the classic The Natural Way to Draw. Build your traditional drawing skills and technical expertise using the easel drawing fun and creative still life, along with natural and found objects, in a variety of mediums such as charcoal, ink, oil pastel, hard/soft pastel and more. You'll get to try all the mediums before you invest - all supplies are covered in the cost of this course. Lisa will provide instruction while practicing foundational drawing skills such as gesture, contour, form and expression. Lisa will provide historical examples, helpful medium descriptions and buying guides along with digital lesson plans. Beginners and seasoned artists welcome.
Tuition: $195 Current Members; $215 Future Members
Students are responsible for some supplies.
