Come join us as we deconstruct The Myth of Calm and learn how to remain deeply connected to our children and ourselves through Authentic Emotional Regulation.
Join speech-language pathologist and executive functioning coach, Carly Soare, M.S., CCC-SLP for this in-person community event on Thursday, May 28th where we will dive into:
- How to support your child’s (and your own) Executive Functioning through Authentic Emotional Regulation, a consistent framework that can be applied in any challenging moment with your child.
-The Myth of Calm and why modeling Authentic Emotional Regulation skills is critical to child development and success.
-Moving beyond “take a deep breath”: Nervous system tending tools to remain authentically connected to yourself and your child, even in the midst of meltdowns.
This talk focuses on supporting parents, caregivers, and families of all backgrounds through a trauma-informed and neurodiversity affirming lens. All are welcome here.
