Each gathering will be different, guided by the energy in the room and what is needed that day. Come carrying whatever you are carrying. Give yourself space to breathe, receive, release, and reconnect with what you already know.

ACCESSIBILITY & ACCOMMODATIONS
We want people to be able to participate in Mystic Within services, groups, and events. Our primary Albuquerque space is on the second floor of a historic building in Old Town Albuquerque. The space is currently reached by stairs, and the building does not have an elevator or lift. We want you to know that before you register or arrive, and we will work with you when an alternative accessible setting or another reasonable accommodation is needed.
Our Primary Old Town Space
Mystic Within's main Albuquerque room is located on the second floor of a historic Old Town building. Access to that room requires using stairs. Because the primary room is not accessible to someone who cannot safely use stairs or who needs a step-free route, we offer alternative arrangements rather than asking a guest to make an unsafe or uncomfortable climb.
Some sessions or events may also use sound, candles, low lighting, incense or other smoke, essential oils, herbs, floor-based seating, or other sensory elements. These are not required in every session. If you have a mobility, respiratory, sensory, or other access need, tell us ahead of time and we will adapt or omit elements when reasonably possible.
Groups, Workshops & Events
For Mystic Within group programs, workshops, and events, we can arrange an accessible alternate location when we receive enough advance notice to secure the space. We ask for at least 7 days' notice whenever possible. If you need an accommodation with less notice, contact us anyway. We will look at the available options and work with you on a reasonable way to participate.
When a program is moved for access, we will make reasonable efforts to keep the facilitator, length, content, materials, and overall experience substantially the same. The exact room layout, furnishings, parking, or other venue features may be different because we are using another location. There is no additional participant fee for an accessibility-related venue change.
If an accessible alternate location cannot reasonably be arranged for the scheduled date, we will work with the person requesting access on another reasonable option. Depending on the program, that may include a different date or location, an adapted way to participate, a transfer to another session, or a refund when appropriate.
Other Reasonable Accommodations
Accessibility is not only about stairs. We will consider reasonable accommodation requests related to mobility, seating, sensory needs, communication, and participation in activities. For example, we can often provide or arrange a chair instead of floor seating, adjust how a practice is done, reduce or remove scent or smoke, modify participation in movement-based activities, or choose an alternate setup that works better for the person attending.
Service animals are welcome as required by applicable law. If you have another access need and are unsure whether we can accommodate it, please ask. We would rather have the conversation than have you assume the answer is no.
How to Request an Accommodation
You can request an accommodation when you register or schedule, or contact Mystic Within through www.mysticwithinabq.com. You do not need to give us a diagnosis or detailed medical history. Tell us what you need in order to access the space or participate in the service or event, and give us as much advance notice as you reasonably can.
For group programs that may require a venue change, 7 days' notice is strongly preferred because alternate accessible space has to be scheduled. A shorter notice does not mean you should not ask; it simply may limit which options are available for that particular date.
Restrooms, Parking & Location Details
Accessibility features can differ between our primary Old Town space and an alternate office or group venue. If restroom access, parking, drop-off access, or another physical feature is important to your participation, let us know when you schedule or register. When we arrange an alternate accessible location, we will provide the access information we have for that specific site before the session or event.
Public parking in Old Town is not controlled by Mystic Within and availability can vary by day and time. We can provide the best current information we have for the location being used, but we cannot guarantee the availability of a particular public parking space.
Our Commitment
We will make reasonable modifications to our usual practices when needed to provide access, unless a requested modification would fundamentally change the nature of the service or cannot reasonably be provided. If the first solution is not workable, we will talk with you about other options rather than simply treating the upstairs room as the only way to participate.
